Shop local or shop locally

If you are using the Word "shop" as a noun, then you should describe the shop as "local." For example, "I am going to a local shop to pick up some flowers."

If you are using the Word "shop" as a verb though, you should use "locally" to describe your shopping. For example, "I enjoy shopping locally better than shopping at stores that are further from home."
