What to do when your American girl dolls hair is flattened and its not supposed to be?

Try this first (if it doesn't work, send her to the Doll Hospital)

Mist her hair w/ a misting bottle. Starting from the bottom of her locks, start brushing out knots and frizz while holding her neck w/ one hand so to keep it from loosening. As you work your way up, mist her hair again to keep it a tad bit easier to work with. Do not, do not, soak it.
