Why the automatic pool clearner keep turn around 360 degrees?

Most likely cause is debris in the mechanism or gear box. One of the gears in the gear box could be damaged. The unit has to be totally disassembled in order to get to the box. You can not replace just one gear or the other -- you replace the entire gear box. I am referring to the Pool Vac suction cleaner.
