Most sons and daughters do not see it as turning their backs on their parents. When the sons and daughters are married and have children they may both work and are busy raising their children which can leave them little time for each other. However, sons and daughters should keep in touch with their parents once or twice a month and spend some holidays with family. Instead of worrying about why they don't come over to see the parents enough it would be wise to ask them for dinner or to meet them for dinner at a restaurant. Also babysitting grandchildren will make the bond stronger so on some weekends the grandparents can babysit if their son or daughter lives in the same city of town.
