Should animals be cept in zoos?

Some people believe that animals can be kept in zoos. One positive reason given is to keep threatened species alive.

Many people belive that it is wrong to keep any wild animal in a zoo.

It does come down to a matter of opinion.

Some more modern zoos do at least give the animals large open spaces to live in without cages - but they are enclosed.
