A man lives on the 8th floor of an apartment he rides the elevator up to the 5 floor and walks the rest of the way why doe he do that?

The man is a midget. He cannot reach the 15th floor button, but when it is raining he has his umbrella with him and can now reach the 15th floor button. Cheers, Fezz. Unless there is someone in the elevator with him, then they can press the button for him.
