Where is mott's garden cocktail best before date?

I got this answer from calling Mott's customer service:

The date on the lid is the production date. ex: 051711 WK 08:58

The product was manufacture on may 5 2011.

The product is good for 12 to 14 months - therefore, till may or july 2012.
