How do you connect a batterycharger on a BMW r1200c?

I purchased the kit along with a the small version Battery Tender that esentially puts a small jack on the side of the frame. It looks a lot like a very small cigarette lighter and is used to power electric heated clothes. It has a wire that fits right into the BMW wiring harness. It allows you to charge the battery through the plug. Works great.
