Why did Obama bow to the King of Saudi Arabia?

Because President Obama is respectful of the customs of other countries, when he is in the presence of a world leader who expects a bow rather than a handshake, Mr. Obama observes that custom. This is not unusual. President Bush also bowed to the Saudi King, as he was expected to do in a show of cultural respect.
