What is the difference between a listing office and a selling office in real estate?

Listing office is the real estate brokerage that employs the Realtor that represents the seller and the the selling office is the real estate brokerage that employs the Realtor that represents the buyer.

Depending on the state the one office can represent both seller and buyer.
