Aztec children of Aztec history worked in their extended family groups toward the goal of preserving the lifestyle of the tribe. Children were involved in hunting, cleaning, cooking, making clothing, protecting the tribe and so forth.
Tribal children generally learn by watching adults and mimicking the task, and so contribute at their own level given their size, skill level and ability. Tribal life is a full-time job.
