What is the difference between thematic analysis and poem analysis?

In thematic analysis, you care and concentrate upon the theme of a piece you are dealing with. In poem analysis, however, you deal with the poem as a whole; you have to care about the message, the idea, the rhyme, the style, the flow etc.
