To become an officer in the Coast Guard without attending Officer Candidate School (OCS), you can consider applying for the Direct Commission Officer (DCO) program, which is designed for individuals with specialized skills or degrees. Currently, there are no dedicated Naval ROTC programs for the Coast Guard, and there haven't been any announcements about establishing one in the near future. It's essential to stay updated through the Coast Guard's official recruitment channels for any changes to officer training programs.
