How do you get a girl or boy child in Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility?

Well, you can't actually get a girlfriend... you can only get a wife or spouse...

To get a spouse or wife, you must...

• have upgraded your house untill you can't get anymore upgrades (like 1st upgrade, bathroom, basments.. and so on)

• have activated all the heart events of that girl you want to marry.

• have given a whole bunch of gifts she likes until her heart color is red.

• have more than 60,000 Love points.
• have the Big Bed
• have rescued at least 60 harvest sprites.

After you have completed all these requirements, the girl you want to marry should have a orange heart on the bottom right corner when you talk to her. Now call Karen's shop(the Supermarket) and the blue feather should be available, so BUY IT. Unless you don't have any money... THEN EARN SOME. Then give the marriageable girl the blue feather and voila!
