Who discovered Russia?

The man who founded Russia was Ryurik, he was King of the Vikings and settled in Russia in Novgorod in 862, and created the Ryurikid Dynasty. In 1601, is when the the Ryurikid Dynasty ended and the Romanov Dynasty started.
