Why do males have to wear underwear when they sleep?

Because it's embarrassing if a teenage friend, or anyone for that matter, sees you in your pajamas. It's a male macho thing, nothing big. I'm a 21 year old guy and that's the reason why I didn't wear them to be honest :)
