What is a Qi compliant device?

A device that conforms to the world power consortium's (WPC) electro-magnetic induction charging standard.

In layman's terms, it's a standard for wireless charging... By installing Qi charging mats in your home, office, car, etc. you will be able to charge your Qi compliant devices by simply setting them down on the mat.
