Are you gay if you have an earring in your right ear?

It is said that gay males choose to pierce their right earlobe to make themselves identifiable, but you do not have to be gay to do this, and piercing your right ear will not "turn you gay"... if that is the concern.

In this day and age we don't define people by what they look like or where they wear jewellery. To do so in most civilized cultures would be considered profiling and highly rude behaviour.
