I am assuming that you are speaking of cards connected with the Roman Catholic service, the Mass. This is really a matter of conscience for you. The Church does not actually specify what one can do with those cards. Quite often they feature Holy pictures and Scriptural references. Many people keep these cards but if they are no longer of any value to you may dispose of them in any way you see fit. I know it may feel 'wrong' to throw them in the garbage but in the end they are really only paper with written and pictorial matter attached. If you feel uncomfortable about disposing of them, you might consider giving them to friends or others who may like them. You might also consider leaving them on the pews in the church because others may take them. You might also consider donating them to a charitable institution (Roman Catholic or otherwise) for resale because the money gained from the sale will assist them greatly in their charitable activities.
