How many days does USPS first class mail take?

There are exceptions and there are no guarantees but First Class Mail isnormally delivered in three to five days. Holiday mail can often get backed up. Within the contiguous United States the USPS meets that three to five day target with more than 99 percent of the mail. Alaska gets good service to Anchorage and Fairbanks but the weather is a major factor for outposts.
