Because he may have grown up and realized that looks aren't everything. Some women (or men) can be so hung-up on themselves they are more into their outer appearance then working on their inner selves. When it comes right down to it most men and women prefer a person that is kind, thoughtful, honest, loyal and has a sense of humor. Most men or women will always at least once in their lives go for the physical appearance of the person, but a high percentage don't work out. There are men and women out there that are handsome and beautiful and have a good personality, but they are few and far between. Remember, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." If you can't understand the fact your man cheated with a woman less attractive than you, then you haven't matured enough to get the true picture. It isn't right that he is cheating on you, but you seemed to be more hung-up on the fact this woman is less attractive than you which screams "self absorbed and fixed at looks" on your part. Take a few hours off at night and go over your personality traits of yourself and perhaps embellish on them. You also have the opportunity to sit down and communicate with your boyfriend and ask him why he's cheating and if he says nothing then kick his tail out the door!
