Who was the leader of the American forces that captured Montreal?

The only time Americans have captured Montreal was in November, 1775, during the American Revolution. The leader of the American force was General Richard Montgomery, who was killed the next month, on New Years Eve, leading an attack which was unsuccessful in capturing Quebec City.
