Hi, it depends upon the context of your situation, in the UK we have the 1974 Health and Safety at Work Act (HESA)with many amendments added since. It is about due care to others and yourself, how to minimise or eliminate risks, from hazards. Hazards can be anything which has the potential to cause potential harm, injury or death....to do with buildings, equipment, materials, substances and activities.
