What is the order and location of the cylinders for a 1973 volkswagen bug?

hi the firing order is 1-4-3-2. If you are sitting in the car #1 cyl is on the right side in the front (flywheel side) #2 is on the right, in rear (pulley side) #3 is on the left side in the front (flywheel side) #4 lis on eft side in rear (pulley side) the cylinder numbers should be stamped in the sheet metal above each sparkplug
