Why is the Philippines so Americanized?

It is because of the Americans themselves. When they came here and "free" the Filipinos from the Spanish rule, everything changed. The American occupation taught the Filipinos American culture -- from food to music to clothing. There were even rumors that the Philippines will become an American colony.
