Do women wear a belt buckle on the left or right?

Traditionally, women's belt buckles are worn on the left side, opposite to men's belt buckles which are typically worn on the right. This convention stems from historical practices where men, who were predominantly right-handed, would draw their sWords from the left side, leaving the right side clear for their belt buckle.
