There are two ways to legally and actually purchase gold on Guild Wars 2. Any other methods are considered a version of hacking, and will result in disciplinary action being taken against your account if the service you "purchase" the gold from does not take control of your account.

First, you can earn gold in game like you can in any other MMO. There are countless ways to work for your gold.
