How long does it take to unload a container ship?

A ship will unload and load within 24 hours of arrival. so assuming there are 5000 containers being unloaded by 4 cranes;

One crane will offload 1250 in 12 hours.


So average time for one container will be 34 seconds!


Maybe its not this fast but you get the idea....
