When you turn 18 can your parents stop you from moving out get you called as a run away and could they get the person that I'm moving in with in trouble to?

Typically once you are 18 you are no longer a minor in the laws eyes. However if you have health insurance or any other perks from you r parents they could discontinue any coverages. Also some states may have little catchy clauses so it is best to call local law enforcement and they will be able to tell you your options.

I eventually moved back in with them, and it certainly changed things for the better.
