What year was the singer sewing machine model 99 manufactured?

Acording to the Encyclopedia of Antique sewing machines by Charles Law(third editon) the model 99 which is the 2/3 size version of the model 66 was made from 1922 through the 1950's. It was also marketed as a budget machine without a light as the Spartan in the 1950's and 60''s in black. It's final incarnation with a slightly different body style in green as the model 185 which was also made in the 1950's and 60's.
