What body of water is found in the central united States?

A body of water can be any large amount of water accumulating. So rivers, lakes, ponds, wetlands, streams, and canals can be bodies of water. Using this definition, there are many bodies of water that are present in the central US. The largest of these bodies of water would be the Great Lakes in the upper midwestern portion of the United States. The Great Lakes are Lake Superior, Lake Erie, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, and Lake Ontario. Another large body of water that is in the central part of the US is the Mississippi River.
