Is sterling silver

I'm not familiar with "sterline" silver. It could be:

• a misspelling of the Word "sterling"
• an attempt to confuse the issue by using similar Wording, in the hope the buyer won't notice

Sterling is 92.5% silver by definition. There is no definition I'm aware of for "sterline".
