Yes, there are genuine work from home transcription jobs that pay anywhere from $10/hr to $75 and up. First you have to receive training. This can be done via the internet at your own pace. Be very careful that you select a school that actually is affiliated with companies who hire their grads. As the school for names of their affiliate companies and then call the companies and verify that the are indeed affiliated with the school to hire their grads. Do this before you sign anything or pay any money. That's the best advice I have. Generally work from home transcriptionists are paid on production so keep this in mind. If you don't spend time working you won't make much money. Some people can't do this and those are the ones who will tell you you can't make money working at home as a medical transcriptionist.
