Why did Poseidon have powers?

Well, In the long past of Greek history, there is this Legend about three most powerful immortals ever alive... the Titans. Then, one of the Titans had three children, three little boys. Although the Titan was super strong, the boys could not get his power, so they became lesser powerful immortal gods, but they were super incredible! the little boys names were Zues, Poseidon, and Hades. the titans soon became evil. So the boys took there fathers staff and defeadted there dad and the others. After that, they became gods with other abilities. Zues god of lighting and god of gods, Poseidon was god of all seas oceans and all water, he also had the power of earthquakes. The last son tricked by Zues to become the most powerful god, Hades became god of the underworld, distrution, and misourri. Poseidon earned his power that way. Just like his brothers.
