Why are piercings so bad?

It can be bad because - if not done or treated properly - it can cause an infection of the piercing. This could lead to more problems due to the infection or the hole actually clsoing up. With earrings in, there is more of a danger of it catching on something. If it does, especially on another object, there is the possibility that it can be ripped out of the ear. Too many piercings or lareg holes made can affect the skin, causing it to become infected, stretched, weakened, or dead.
