Does Santa Claus wiggle his nose for magic?

The TV series "Bewitched" introduced the idea of witches such as Samantha and her various relatives who performed acts of magic by wiggling their noses. Other than that TV series there is no tradition that connects magic to nose wiggles. Certainly there is no tradition that Santa Claus performs magic by wiggling his nose. Exactly how he travels through the inside of chimneys without getting soot on his red coat, remains mysterious.
