Yes, it should start in 2015. The fact is that many characters from the original Power Puff Girls will return. The most noticeable changes are that: Ms. Sara Bellum's hair looks quite different, though her face is still never shown; Ms. Keane is now never seen without wearing her earrings, necklace or bracelet (which are all in the color of red); new characters are appearing such as The Professor's wife Mrs. Utonium, The Professor's son Ken, Ms. Keane's daughter Jamie, and Ms. Sara Bellum's son Andy (who, just like his mother, never shows his face), among other characters such as the ones from the anime and new characters who have never appeared before; Mr. and Mrs. Morbucks are now visible like they are in the anime; "Townsville Elementary School" is now seen, etc.
These comics, as well as many other comics that are revivals of Cartoon Network original shows from the '90s and '00s will be part of "Cartoon Network Illustrated", which is coming up as a monthly comic book magazine in July 2015. An all-new TV series adaptation of these comics will be created by Butch Hartman and produced by Billionfold Inc. and will be shown first as a 2-hour pilot movie, and then being picked up as a full TV series, both also being produced by DHX Media and Sony Pictures Television for Canada's "Teletoon" channel, and Cartoon Network in the United States.
