There are several island antiOSn that have the same time zone. Therefore all are the last countries to enter the new year The the west side international date line is where 2009 starts Those on the east side in what is known as the Western Hemisphere would be the last. Those countries are American Samoa- Pago Pago, Samoa (Apia), Niue (Alofi), Midway Islands, Jarvis Isl., Kingman Reef, Palmyra Atoll. Only one hour before that is Hawaii. - Peace
