Professional Window Painters Use "Outdoor Latex House Paint"

The best brand is Sherwinn Williams - It's more expensive, but worth it!

Miller is also very good.

Tempra is not a good paint. It's weak.

But you can lay a base coat of white latex to improve Tempra. Tempra is not rain proof -

Latex is great for out door application.

But can be very messy and hard to scrape off glass.

HOW TO PAINT Windows:

Draw lightly with chalk, roll out white, then colors , outline.

SUPPLIES

White Latex Needed - Windows are dark - White paint (not primer)

is necessary - Apply smoothly with roller

Black for outlines

Pure primary colors can be mixed to create variances

  • Brushes: 1" foam brushes with firm skinny wooden handles. (Miller)

Cheap imitations have thick wood handles or red plastic handles.

  • Small foam rollers 1 per color

Add'l

  • Tape for masking window seal
  • Tarps
  • Sidewalk chalk for drawing on glass. Its a bit greasy, and it sticks
  • Razor blades
  • Towels
  • A paper pattern can be made with projector as a guide for drawing
