Honda cbr 600 f2 has a rattle noise coming from the clutch area can you help me fix it?

Sounds like you have the same problem I did a week ago, if that rattling noise is coming from the clutch basket area, gets worse with more RPM while riding, and sounds like a loose chain, your cam chain tensioner is probably in need of adjustment or in my case replacement. I would suggest taking it to a reputable local shop, have them take a look and a good listen and they could probably tell you exactly what it is. If it's indeed from the clutch basket, then you may need more work than I can give you the run down of (never had that problem, can't give any info on it) but if it's the cam chain tensioner you may just need a cheap part, a little time in the shop (dealer tool required to loosen the non adjustable tensioner) and your bike will be good as new. I would opt for the adjustable tensioner and keep an ear and eye on the thing from now on making adjustments as needed per the owners manual. Best of luck to another Kool-Aid owner! Grimm
