What made it possible for people to cross the land bridge to Alaska?

During the last Ice Age, lower sea levels exposed a land bridge known as Beringia, connecting Asia and North America. This land bridge emerged due to significant amounts of water being trapped in ice sheets, creating a route for migratory animals and early human populations to move into new territories. Favorable climatic conditions and the search for resources likely motivated these early peoples to cross into Alaska.
