Why did Bounty change its name to Plenty?

because it makes it sound like it can absorb more water

The name was changed because the company Procter & Gamble sold the U.K rights to a swedish company knowing that they would change the name so they could keep all rights to the name Bounty as Procter & Gamble still sell the product under that name in America.
