The daffodil has the following flower parts:
- Female Reproductive parts (carpel):
- stigma captures the pollen/sperm
- style transports the sperm
- Ovary covers the Ovule where the ovum/egg can be found
- Male Reproductive parts (Stamen):
- Anther is where the pollen is located
- Filament is the "stem" with the anther topping it.
- Petals are fused to the petals forming a tube.
- Outer layer are larger and flaired out
- Inner layer are cup or Trumpet-like and attract pollinators.
