No. In fact, AMTC is a very legitimate organization and they have an A+ rating with the BBB (Better Business Bureau).

AMTC has helped thousands of contestants pursue their dream/career in the entertainment industry over the past 28 years, and has had several stars come through the organization like Megan Fox, Chris Young, Tim Urban, Dianne DeGarmo, Sonia Dara, Caitlin Kinney, tWitch, and Matthew Underwood to name a few.

Also, AMTC is mentioned in Megan Fox's mini-biography on her IMDb page. (As: Actors, Models, and Talent Competition. AMTC legally changed it's name to Actors, Models, and Talent for Christ in January of 2010.)
