Where do the river basins appear to flow (i.e. where do they dump out)?

River basins typically flow towards larger bodies of water such as oceans, seas, or lakes. They collect and channel runoff from precipitation and tributaries, converging at a point known as the river mouth. This is where the cumulative water from the basin is discharged, impacting the surrounding ecosystem and sediment deposition. Each river basin is defined by its own watershed boundaries, which determine the direction of flow.
