Well Emmet was getting attacked by a bear when Rosalie was hunt and she found him dying from the bear and he reminded her of her old best friends sons so she fought the bear and saved Emmet.
It was because Emmet was getting attacked by a bear in the woods and rosalie saw him lying there trying to fight back but he was to weak so rosalie went over to the bear and fought him off them turned emmet into a vampire so he coulod live.
