Put pressure on, let off of it, reapply pressure on the brake as needed, let off of it again. You never ride your brakes down a hill

• you'll burn them out. If you start seeing smoke coming from your

wheels during and/or immediately after braking, you need to stop that truck completely, and sit long enough to let the brakes cool down, unless you somehow think the idea of having to use an escape ramp is thrilling.
