Were is oil filter on Honda rebel 450?

There is a 'plate' section on the bottom front right side of the motor, the filter resides behind this plate. There is no external filter that you can see, you have to remove this plate AFTER draining the oil through the bolt! Please, don't think that this is a big deal, because its not, just a little less convenient when doing an oil change.
