It is a bad idea to destroy the tropical rain-forest because trees breath in carbon dioxide and breath out oxygen which we need to breath. Carbon dioxide is also a major part of global warming.
We haven't even discovered half of the plants and animals that live there and if we destroyed it we may wipe out the only animal that holds the cure to cancer!
If we decide we want it back we can't just plant a few seeds and hope it works because rain forest are natural wonders.
Lots of animals plants trees will die and the people too because the rivers will be dirty so the people who are living there will have no water.
