Does the ping pong ball have to go pass the center line of the table in singles?

In singles Table Tennis, the ping pong ball must cross the center line of the table when served, but it doesn't have to land on the opponent's side in a specific location. The ball must clear the net and land in the correct service box on the opponent's side of the table. As long as it passes the net and lands within the boundaries of the opponent's side, it is a valid serve.
